There are so many things we would like to share about the ketogenic diet. Monica has been on this diet since 2015, and much has changed - both in terms of meal preparation with new products on the market and in managing everyday life or special occasions. Monica has always been a cheerful and positive person.

I am Francesca, Angelica's mother. Angelica is 12 years old, and she suffers from a chronic illness. In 2021, after unsuccessful therapies, we introduced the ketogenic diet. It was not an easy path, but in the end, this ketogenic diet improved her health and allowed her to return to dancing.

The ketogenic diet in children represents a special dietary approach, which comes with several challenges in everyday life. Since there are only a few schools willing to accommodate these specific needs, one should start looking for a suitable option early on. Schools capable of supporting the ketogenic diet often have extremely small class sizes and a higher staff-to-student ratio. Consequently, our choice quickly fell on a school with a focus on physical and motor skills development, where all types of school diplomas are possible.

Who am I - Who are we?
Hello, my name is Elisabeth. I am four years old and live with my family in Upper Bavaria. I am a happy, fun-loving and inquisitive girl. Unfortunately, I have a handicap. I have what is called "drug resistant epilepsy".

Especially on trips with children, parents need to take a lot of equipment with them. From a change of clothes and diapers to baby carriages, strollers and buggies - there really is quite a lot that we can and must think about. Of course, this means a lot of planning and organization, even if it's a short trip. Of all the things, the right provisions for the little ones are a must. This is a very special topic anyway, as I have found that tastes are very individual, especially in children. However, if a child is prescribed a ketogenic diet, provisions play an even greater role.

I finally got the travel bug again after two long Covid years and booked a trip to the south. My destination was Porto and the anticipation was great. For me, traveling doesn't just mean choosing a destination and planning activities, for me it means thinking about what food I need to take with me, what I can get locally or do I need to have some sent to the hotel from Kanso in time.

When Elisabeth has her heart set on a new sweet, the search for everyday solutions always begins for me as a keto mom. I eagerly consider how I can "ketogenize" the corresponding products and perhaps even visually recreate something. Always with the goal in mind that Elisabeth can also enjoy the supposed pleasure of these delicacies. After all, the diet is an enrichment for her life and she should feel it as such at any time.

Hello dear ones!
Today I would like to give you a little insight into how I integrate the ketogenic diet into my professional everyday life. I work as a speech therapist at a special school. Since my workday is tightly scheduled due to therapies, the necessary documentation and the cooperation with my colleagues, I hardly have time to prepare my food on site.

Every year, the MUD Master Obstacle Run takes place here in the Lower Rhine region. It's an exciting obstacle course reminiscent of a real marine course. You have to slide, crawl, climb, or jump to overcome spectacular obstacles.
