
French Toast with vanilla sauce
Preparation
For 2 slices
Vanilla sauce:
- Heat up the soy milk, remove from the heat, stir in the vanilla pudding powder, briefly bring to the boil.
- Set the vanilla sauce aside.
French toast:
- Weigh the bread the day before, which roughly corresponds to 2 slices.
- Allow to dry overnight.
- Whip the aquafaba with the cider vinegar and the locust bean gum flour for about 5 minutes until stiff.
- Stir in the icing sugar, flavouring, vanilla and almond milk.
- Dip the bread into the whipped mixture.
- Heat up the margarine in a pan at medium heat.
- Place the bread inside and fry each side for about 5 minutes at medium heat.
- Serve with vanilla sauce and garnish with blueberries.
